Fortunately, I have forgotten more than I remember. My teachers are lately among the birds, trees and poets. I like magic, paradox, dreams of light and color. I gratefully use drawing, painting and making objects to fill my time with joy and creative endeavor.
Whether on the road or settled in a familiar place, painting allows me to keep my living spaces soulful and personal. Teaching art for 25 years to children and adults, has helped me to see more clearly, develop skills and apply discipline as I have earned my living. You will see in the galleries that my art is about the celebration of life's seasons, the elements of nature, and my friend the world..
